Lars Stjernstedt Sensei is a long-time student of Seishiro Endo Shihan. He has also practiced in the lineage of Kobayashi Yasuo Sensei. His focus is on clarity, precision, and sharpness of technique, all while maintaining deep connection with a partner. In his practice and teaching he explores and cultivates relaxed power that never resorts to using force.
For me warming up is very important for keeping myself flexible and able to move, and I think it is a necessity for finding a soft and flexible Aikido.
I will show and describe my warm-up and where it comes from.
I have developed these stretching forms over the years from other teachers’ warmups, yoga, shiatsu, do in, maka ho, and other sources.
What to Bring to Class
Please wear loose-fitting comfortable clothing you can practice in.
Beginners are warmly welcome.
We look forward to practicing with you this Saturday!
Please share this email with any and all you think might like to attend.
