Charles is a direct student of Endo Seishiro Shihan, and is strongly influenced by Jan Nevelius Shihan, Jorma Lyly Sensei, Okamoto Seigo Soshi, and Mary Heiny Sensei.
As an eternal student, he considers the study, practice, and sharing of Aikido as “his lens, his window, his mirror, his medicine…and an endless wellspring of knowledge, wisdom, and joy.”
Description from Charles Sensei: In this session, through practices from Qigong and Aikido, I invite yout to get together virtually to release stress, integrate Aiki-fundamentals, and learn tools to regulate the nervous system and fortify the immune system.
No experience necessary, so bring any of your friends, partners, and quarantine family members who want to join. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a stick (the length of a bokken).
Suggested donation to the UNICEF Covid-19 Children’s Fund ($20). If that’s too much, pay whatever feels comfortable. If you’re feeling a financial squeeze just come to class.
To donate please send to: @xernaut on Venmo.
(Note: for security the ‘waiting room’ setting will be turned on.)
We look forward to practicing with you on Saturday!
