….

We are very excited to invite you to New Orleans (January 12-14) for a New Year’s seminar with Charles Colten Sensei!

At this coldest time of year, we will fire up our practice by adding early morning classes during the week, and culminate with a weekend seminar (Jan 12-14), taught by Charles Colten Sensei (5th Dan).

New Year Sake-Celebration and Fire-pit Intention-Setting Ceremony will take place during the Saturday evening pot-luck dinner and party.

Additional private sessions with Colten Sensei are available during the week (Inquire with Brian Levy Sensei, as available time slots fill up fast)

Charles Colten Sensei, 5th Dan and Founder and Director of Aikido in the Schools, is a direct student (deshi) to Endo Shihan and has also been greatly influenced by other mentors including Jan Nevelius Shihan and Sensei(s) Jorma Lyly, Seigo Okamoto, and Mary Heiny.

As an eternal student who is deeply informed by the living world, he considers the study, practice, and sharing of Aikido as “his lens, his window, his mirror, his medicine…and an endless wellspring of knowledge, wisdom, and joy.”
