Dear Friends and Dojo Members,

I hope this message finds you well during this challenging time.

Given the ongoing spread of COVID-19, for the protection of all our dojo members, families, friends, and everyone else, the dojo will be closed for in-person classes for at least the next two weeks.

In order to support the continuity of our practice and community, I am looking into teaching live-streamed video classes and offering other resources for solo practice.  If you have requests, please let me know.

It’s my hope and belief that the spirit of Aikido will provide a foundation for skillful and compassionate responsiveness amidst this situation.

I invite you all to join me in helping our dojo to not only survive this challenging period, but to actually further evolve and emerge even stronger.  Please let me know if there are any ways that we can support each other.

I thank you for your understanding and support during this difficult time.

With love and in solidarity,

Brian

P.S.  According to the CDC both ‘social distancing’ and proper hand-washing are how we can best protect ourselves and each other right now by ‘flattening the curve.’
