Our annual Delta Common Ground is a chance for us to explore several different styles and approaches to Aikido in a friendly, exploratory, safe environment. Here we find the Common Ground which O’Sensei envisioned, seeing the art as a path of reconciliation with ourselves and each other, focusing on the deeper unity underneath all the differences we find in our lives and in our shared art.
We are excited to announce that this year’s line up for Common Ground will include dojos from Louisiana, Mississippi, and Florida, and will include for the first time Novelle Price Sensei from Gulf Coast Aikido as well as veteran Common Ground instructors Weldon Mauney Sensei from Gulf Breeze Aikido, Brian Levy Sensei from NOLA Aikido, and Michael O’Quinn Sensei from Aikido Nord du Lac.
The seminar format will involve two one-hour morning sessions with 15 minutes breaks between them, a 1.5 hour catered lunch in the dojo, then 2 one-hour afternoon sessions with 15 minutes breaks between.
The cost of the event will only be $15 which will include lunch and snacks.

This event is perfect for all levels, including newer beginners. It will be gentle, friendly, and a lot of fun.
