We are delighted to welcome Charles Colten Sensei back with us here in the Crescent City in September!
Charles Colten Sensei, 4th Dan Aikikai, is the Director and Chief Instructor of Aikido in the Schools and Dojo Cho of Hudson River Aikido. He is a direct student of Endo Shihan, and his other primary mentors are Jan Nevelius Shihan and Jorma Lyly Sensei. He is also extremely grateful to, and strongly influenced by, Sensei(s) Mary Heiny, Seigo Okamoto, John Stone, and Robin Cooper.
Seminars with Charles Sensei are always transformative, engaging, and fun. Charles Sensei is a gifted teacher who has honed both his pedagogy and his Aikido during many years of passionate and dedicated research. He works well with students at all levels, and indeed all students are warmly welcome, regardless of how long you have practiced, what organization your belong to, or what style you practice.
There will be an emphasis on connection, relaxation, and gentle use of natural movements.
